(Almost completely) silent Radeon 3650 graphics card

I needed a second DVI connector on my desktop computer for attaching LCD TV so I went with Gigabit Radeon 3650, removed stock cooler and attached Scythe Musashi aftermarket cooler.

When assembled it looked and worked so good I had to share this picture with the world.

With it’s massive fans and speed controls I can run this on slowest possible speed, cooler is completely cool and it’s completely silent. Cool & cool!

I usually tend to go with fanless nVidia card (Gigabyte, ASUS and perhaps others make them). This solution looks interesting. Are those fans at lowest RPM enough to cool down the card at max load?

I would also go for a passively cooled card, but I already had a 3650 that I couldn't sell. I had an ad on Bolha for a month with no takers.

So I went cooler shopping. About your question about fans and max load... I wouldn't know. I can't put card on max load, I don't own or play any games (except guitar hero III) on my computer. That's why people invented consoles. ;)

The industry invented consoles for those that do not know about (or care much about) system flexibilty but do care mainly about easy/fun.
Typical, follow the supposed 'leader' mentality which makes them trunkloads of money. True, you do not have to build it to use a console, but someone like me cannot live with a consoles' predisposed and un-customisable input layouts.
If you are insterested in loading it down to test the cooling ability, get the TrackManiaNations demo game.
